A good book on the challenges of perfection, which is a failure of trust in yourself and others at its core, is Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. Another is The SPEED of Trust by Stephen M.R. Covey. These two books do a great job of explaining the challenges that a lack of trust has on an organization and the cost in terms of speed and money that result.
